Shedding Light & Holiday Cheer

There is absolutely nothing I love more than being able to capture seasonal moments in places and homes that inspire me. Very few homes I step into immediately warm my soul like this one, along with a friendship that comes out of nowhere and is a true blessing I didn't know I needed. The first time I stepped foot in this home was in December 2019. Since then, I have found myself returning around the same time each year, leaving with newly found inspiration from conversations and bouncing around creative ideas. The (seemingly) dying art of maintaining an actual friendship sometimes requires nothing more than being present and catching up when being called.

For a home I find I frequently visit, whether, for a coffee or photoshoot, I'm in awe of the amount of personality it exudes. One that changes with the seasons, the homeowner's mood that day, week, or month, or any life event or celebration for that matter –– it's simply perfect.
